  • Abstract
    This paper evaluates the Spotlight processing accuracy for TerraSAR-X. It describes the developed Spotlight raw data simulator. Approximations in the Sliding Spotlight processing are calculated and verified by using this simulator. Based on a worst case scenario, raw data were simulated and processed with an Extended Chirp Scaling algorithm for Sliding Spotlight. The simulation results demonstrate the applicability of the processing algorithm for TerraSAR-X.
