Abstract
This paper presents the theoretical analysis on a new type of AO modulator. The modulator achieves large modulation bandwidth and input angular aperture by simultaneously satisfying tangential phase matching and noncritical phase matching. A TeO2 modulator was designed that could provide an order of magnitude increase of the input angular aperture
