Abstract :
As a kind of biomass resources, the corncob is widely applied in the product of furfural. At present, the yield of furfural has consumed half of the corncob product in China each year. The high pollution and high energy consumption are the choke points which restrict the development of furfural. In this paper, the wastewater and fume was investigated in detail. The major problem was the wastewater couldn´t be disposed completely and large amount of wastewater was discharged privately. At the same time, high concentration SO2, CO, NO and NOx in fume was discharged directly.
