Abstract :
A method for evaluating the ultrasonic field within an inhomogeneous, arbitrarily shaped scatterer was developed and computationally simulated. A dyadic Green´s function is used to formulate the integral equation for field mapping. Special care has been given in treating the singularity such that the uniqueness is preserved. In addition, some inhomogeneous models are also investigated
