Abstract :
A new leaky coaxial cable (LCX) with ununiform periodic vertical slots is introduced in this paper. The related parameters are analyzed to design the LCX. Based on the application, the specific forms of LCX are introduced. By simulating with the HFSS software and testing under the related standards, the consistent results between the simulation and the measurement are obtained, both of which meet with the standards. The results indicate that the LCX has the advantages of low coupling loss, small transmission attenuation, low VSWR, and stable structure. It can be used in the specific wireless communication system of subway at the frequency of 800MHz.
