  • Abstract
    Summary form only given. We report on a nanosecond optical parametric generator (OPG) of periodically poled lithium niobate (LiNbO/sub 3/) (PPLN). The average output power (signal and idler wave) of the OPG is 2.9 W at 10 kHz repetition rate. The linewidth of the OPG radiation was reduced to 300 MHz by injection seeding with the radiation of a DFB diode laser.
