Abstract
Summary form only given. We report on experimental investigations of the possibility to generate shorter optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pulses by applying a self mode-locked Ti:sapphire laser operating at 824 nm and emitting pulses with a duration of 24 fs, a spectral bandwidth of 41 nm.
