Abstract
This study proposes that technological capabilities and business configuration fundamentally interplay in the determination of technological development, and identifies the co-evolution effects on technological trajectory. It argues that while the transaction costs and resource characteristics shape the firm scope, the business configuration also reshapes the technology development. And this feedback loop forms as the technological trajectory.
