Making a transition from manager to manager

This is the third year in a row that The Engineering Management Review will continue to publish articles on managing technical professionals. I look forward to sharing my views on various topics and also receiving your comments. My topics, during the last two years, included transitioning from individual contributor to manager, and in another article on transitioning from manager to individual contributor. This article looks at the issues involved in moving from one management role to another.
