Abstract
Constructions of asymmetric authentication systems based on families of mappings with the vector space property are considered. Simmons (see Journal of Cryptology, vol.2, no.2, p.77, 1990) introduced asymmetric authentication systems when he extended conventional authentication codes to codes with arbitration, called A2-codes. It is now the notion for any authentication system where the participants possess different keys which, in some way, are dependent
