Abstract :
Seki and Mizumoto have proposed a type-2 fuzzy functional inference method which extends fuzzy sets of the antecedent parts to type-2 fuzzy sets, and shown that the inference results of this method can be easily obtained from the area and center of gravity in fuzzy sets of consequent parts. In this paper, we discuss another calculation method of the type-2 fuzzy functional inference method. Moreover, we state design method and properties of the proposed type-2 fuzzy functional inference method, and compare the proposed type-2 fuzzy functional inference method with conventional fuzzy inference methods.
