  • Abstract
    Different protective layer materials used in plasma display panels (PDPs) have been explored. A high secondary electron emission yield is due to a low value of the combination of band gap and electron affinity. The materials such as MgO-Cs2O and MgO-CsI will be good candidates for protective layers.
