Abstract :
Self-pulsed lasers were generated in fiber Raman master oscillator power amplifiers, where the amplifier and oscillator are pumped by one laser source successively. The pulse periods are one or half of the round-trip time of the oscillator, depending on the optical length of the amplifier.
