Abstract :
With the increasing compression factor of the electron gun in millimeter TWTs, the initial thermal velocity of electrons of the cathode and the nonmagnetic shield effects, which may not be concerned in the centimeter TWTs, can no longer be neglected. This paper presents the applicable equations and diagrams in this field
