Abstract :
Generally, the strength of image watermarking is set to be a fixed value over a cover image. We propose a new approach to achieve higher imperceptibility and robustness by setting different levels of embedding strength within the same cover image. In our work, image watermarking is done in discrete wavelet transform coefficients. It is proposed to vary embedding strength within the cover image coefficients, using a set of embedding values which can be used with grouped approximate coefficients of cover image. Results show that the method gives better imperceptibility and robustness.
