Abstract :
Human factors safety is the important safeguard for railway system safety, and the human factors safety evaluation is the core of the railway human factors safety management. In order to evaluate the railway human factors safety state more rational and reliable, the railway human factors safety characteristics were analyzed in detail, and then the evaluation index system was proposed. Then the evaluation model for railway human factors safety was proposed based on information extraction. This model could evaluate the human factors safety state of a train operation unit through the key personnel selection and monitoring, human error control, man-machine interface and human factors management level. Numerical results of a case study of railway human factors safety state evaluation testified to the effectiveness of the proposed methods. The results of the evaluation indicate that the evaluation methods could estimate the human factors safety state more accurately and provide some valuable suggestions.
