Abstract
A multiple frequency operation technique is proposed for a microstrip antenna, in which the structure is fed by a microstrip line through an aperture coupling. The technique is general and can also be applied to microstrip antennas with other feed types. It allows the antenna to operate at several discrete frequencies over a wide frequency band.<>
