Abstract :
Cutting force is an important parameter in the design of bush reciprocating cutter. A reciprocating single blade cutting test equipment was made in this paper. Three factor and four-level complete test was done to study their influence on maximum cutting force. Three factors are sliding cutting angle, cutting edge angle, and crank speed. It was found that: the significant order of influence on maximum cutting force is crank speed, sliding cutting angle, and cutting edge angle. There was also significant influence on maximum cutting force by the interaction of crank speed and sliding cutting angle.
