Abstract :
Alenia Spazio is presently responsible of the radar altimeter (RA-2) instrument of the ENVISAT-1 satellite (ESA program with DORNIER GmbH prime contractor). This system needs an S/Ku band antenna in order to generate two fixed spot beams with the same nominal pointing for the Remote Sensing functions. This paper describes the electrical design and the test results of the coaxial feed presently baselined for the RA-2 antenna.<>
