  • Abstract
    The design parameters and test results of X-band Broadband CW Klystron at IECAS were presented in this paper. Under the beam voltage of 17.5 kV and the beam current of 3.25 A, the klystron KX 4139-5# got output power of 13.7~15.9 kW with efficiency of 24.1~27.9%, gain of 37.1~44.7 dB and bandwidth of 95 MHz. The influence of the distribution of magnetic field on the power-frequency characteristics and beam current of klystron was also discussed.
