Abstract :
Asymmetrical branch-line couplers, Wilkinson power dividers, and rat race hybrids with coupling values and division ratios almost unrealizable using conventional microstrip line techniques have been realized with practical microstrip line dimensions using impedance and admittance inverters. Experimental results are presented for some extreme examples. The designer has the choice of many suitable microstrip line dimensions to realize the inverters.<>
