Abstract
The authors present a theoretical and practical design of a single-layer microwave absorber which exhibits broadband characteristics for both normal and oblique incidence. A single-layer absorber was designed, fabricated, and tested at normal and oblique incidence. Experimentally, 8-dB absorption has been obtained both at normal and oblique incidence. It is found that the theoretical and practical results agree very closely.<>
