Abstract :
An optical gain pattern-dependence suppression technique in Semiconductor Optical Amplifiers is presented, and its validity numerically demonstrated. It is applied to a simple all-optical ultra-fast de-multiplexer scheme for Optical Time Domain Multiplexed signals.
