Abstract :
We report a new type of traveling-wave electro-optic sinusoidal deflector fabricated by use of simple domain-engineering processes in electro-optic crystal. Using ultrafast deflectors operating at a 16.25-GHz repetition rate, we also propose and demonstrate an all optical solid-state streak camera with a temporal resolution of ps range.
