  • Abstract
    Integrated architecture of Ethernet passive optical networks (EPONs) and 2.4GHz/ 60GHz-band radio-over-fiber (ROF) links is proposed for versatile in-building networks, providing ubiquitous sensing, high-definition video on demand (VOD) and WiFi services. Experimental results confirm the feasibility of the hybrid network of wireless sensor networks (WSN) and wireless local area network (WLAN).
