Abstract
A recently proposed extended Huygens´ principle for scattering objects in a waveguide is reviewed. This technique allows the coupling of a finite element discretisation with a quasi method of moments (MM) surface element approach. Perfectly conducting posts are considered as test cases. Implementational details are discussed and results for the conducting post are presented.
