Abstract :
Because of better features and characteristics of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) comparing to induction motor with same ratting values, application of IPMSMs has received increasing attention in these years. In this paper control strategy of direct torque and flux control (DTFC) based on active flux concept applied to traction load is considered. In this scheme, torque and flux are controlled by PI regulators. Also, space vector modulation (SVM) unit take the place of switching table in conventional DTC. In addition, active flux position and rotor position are the same, speed estimation is simplified. In this paper, comparison between DTFC based on active flux concept and conventional DTC for traction load is presented. Simulation results prove the control system has good performance and dynamic.
