Abstract
In an earlier work of M.A. Cohen et al. (1983), it was shown that distance-dependent on-center off-surround neural networks whose on-center is self-excitatory only is stable. In a later publication (M.A. Cohen, 1988), it was shown that should the excitatory on-center be broadened, then persistent oscillations are possible. In this work the stability of some of these oscillations is shown
