  • Abstract
    This paper presents an error probability analysis for the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)-asymmetrical digital subscriber loop (ADSL) system. By adopting a discrete form of the impulse response of the ADSL and by establishing statistical models for various transmission impairments, such as intracarrier interference (ICI), and impulse noise (IN), a closed-form expression for the error probability performance of the OFDM-ADSL system is derived
