Abstract :
The characteristic parameters of the series valve of SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) will deviate inevitably with growing of working time. The fault components must be determined in shortest time as possible and stop triggering if any element of valve has problem when operating. Otherwise, it will cause other elements over-voltage in the same group easily. As the result of this chain reaction is all the components will be damaged, which will cause major accidents and economic loss. This paper mainly studies the protection technology of SCR valve at high-speed transient. Processing voltage, current, temperature and other parameters of SCR, which are obtained through multi-way in parallel, with high speed device for logical judgment. All pulses of trigger will be stopped transiently once any parameter of SCR is abnormal, to avoid further damage to other SCR. At the same time, the oscillation of torque in motor is avoided. The result of experiment show that the module has reliable diagnostic capability to identify the reduction of SCR capacity dynamicly, which has great value in application of the SCR serial technology.
