Abstract :
Collection of empirical data and to make it useful in the prediction of probability of future events has become essential aspect in the field of living probabilistic safety assessment. The purpose of this study is to make a new computer based method to update reliability data. The basis of the method is Bayesian updating approach. The article focus on time based failure rate that depends on Poisson likelihood function and conjugate gamma distribution.
