Abstract
Discusses recent developments in radar technology, specifically in the automotive area. The work on various parts of the sensor system to meet the performance and production cost targets is described. The concept of intelligent cruise control (ICC) is introduced, and the application of millimeter-wave sensors is discussed. FM-continuous wave (CW) and pulse coded radars are described, and details of novel quasi-optical antennas and mixers are presented.<>
