Abstract :
A knowledge-based system approach, FEEDS, which provides a generalised and expandable analogue design environment, is presented. Its key features include; a flexible design process, an expandable design knowledge-base and wide accessibility to design results. FEEDS as integrated into the CADENCE design framework and is currently used for a wide range of analogue designs. Analogue multiplier design is used to demonstrate the flexibility of the approach
