Abstract
An anti-alias sampling sequence, called the hybrid additive random sampling (a.r.s.) sequence, can be formed by concatenating an a.r.s. sequence to a reverse a.r.s. sequence. Under suitable manipulation, at least 75% of the multiplications and additions required in computing the frequency components are saved. The computational algorithm for the hybrid a.r.s. can be implemented in modular form
