Abstract :
Taking into account the result of previous calibration in the recalibration of a measurement device is considered in frame of the Bayesian approach. An expression for the recalibrated value is obtained for the case when the recalibration is performed by measuring the quantity which value is known prior to the measurement from other sources. The possible correlation between the value obtained in the previous calibration and the value measured in course of the recalibration is taken into the consideration. The expressions obtained can also be applied for calculation of the results of some comparisons of the standards.
