Abstract
In the last couple of decades harmonics have become a major power quality problem in electric power system through the world. Harmonics are a distortion of the normal electrical current waveform, generally transmitted by nonlinear loads. It is important to identify the harmonic sources in the system and prevent related problems. In the paper are presented voltages and current distortions due to harmonics, their orders, identifying the locations of generation and their propagation, respectively power quality in the power system of Kosovo. The analysis is based on simulation models and measurements.
