Abstract :
Commissioned by the manufacturer, this study conducts a research on the young female users of household soymilk makers with the goal-directed method. Through contextual inquiry, we carried out tests and interviews on the users, compared and analyzed the results by videos & screenshots, and then verified them again through questionnaire, thereby initially revealing the target users´ behavioral patterns in using soymilk makers. To define the requirements of the target users, we organized the user information by means of ¿persona¿ to reify the users. Finally, based on brainstorm, we found out the specific requirements of Susan in using soymilk maker through ¿persona-based scenario¿, thus giving a clear direction for the follow-up design.
