Abstract :
The ENDECO Type 1074 Variable Depth V-FIN Depressor provides a remote controlled towed vehicle that can carry a multitude of sensors. The variable depth feature is provided by a combination of remote controlled trim-tabs and deployed cable length. The system will profile between selected depths or maintain a constant depth. The vehicle will fly to 400 meters at 7 knots and 300 meters at 9 knots.
