Abstract
The design of high-accuracy high-frequency comparators needs particular care especially with parameters such as offset and overdrive recovery. This paper discusses the major design constraints and presents a new topology for a CMOS video comparator. The experimental results show that the proposed architecture is suitable for use in high-performance A/D converters
