  • Abstract
    The paper establishes a calculation model for aerodynamic parameters and performance for horizontal shaft wind turbine according to strip theory, in the design, the strip theoretical is revised by considering the parameters included the blade tip loss, blade root loss, cascade influence and heavy load operation. Blade aerodynamic shape of 1.5MW horizontal shaft wind turbine is finished, and aerodynamic performance is also evaluated, the result shows blade aerodynamic performance of wind turbine reached the design requirements, it has good wind energy utilizing coefficient and operating characteristics.
