Abstract :
The average level crossing rates (LCR) and average fade durations (AFD) are analyzed for the multihop Nakagami fading channel with an amplify-and-forward (AF) relay. To evaluate the average LCR and AFD in closed-forms, their lower bound and upper bound are derived. Numerical results with different values of fading parameters are presented to illustrate the performance.
