Abstract :
Transmit and receive (T/R) modules are key elements in any active aperture system. T/R module architecture is unique for each system application and must be designed carefully to assure that performance goals as well as platform limitations are met. T/R module architectural considerations are discussed, and specific examples of wideband and narrowband modules which have been implemented in functional arrays are shown.<>
