Abstract
The authors outline a set of software tools that allow injection locking to be quantitatively treated by an harmonic-balance methodology, and they discuss in detail the stability portrait of a typical injection-locked microwave oscillator. The simulation can accurately describe the spreading of the unlocked oscillation spectrum near the locking range edge.<>
