  • Abstract
A low-power (2.5 V) current-mode analog to digital converter suitable for mobile radio transceiver application is presented. It uses current injection technique to increase the speed of current mirrors. The 4-bit ADC is implemented in 1.2 μm CMOS technology. It has a conversion rate of 4.5 MHz, a power dissipation of 0.5 mW and an active chip area of 0.02 mm2
