  • Abstract
    We introduce a novel data detection scheme (based on maximum likelihood detection) for coded PSK in the presence of unknown phase. This scheme offers a performance very close to coherent in cases of n⩾20, requires a low complexity and it employs a Viterbi algorithm implementation
