  • Abstract
    This paper investigates, by using numerical and analytical techniques, to what extent the instabilities which lead to nonuniform magnetization dynamics, are relevant to ultra-thin films of sub-micron transversal dimensions. It is studied in detail what are the magnetic body dimensions and the excitation conditions which lead to an appreciable deviation of the magnetization dynamics from the uniform mode solution of the problem. and geometrical characteristics of the magnetic system. Also, spin-waves instability is analyzed by means of micromagnetic simulations and the results are compared with the ory.
