Research of Low-Carbon Economy and Socially Sustainable Development

With the constantly changing of global temperatures, the conflict has become increasingly prominent between the limitation of coal, oil, gas and other conventional energy sources and increasing demands. To implement low-carbon economy will become an important strategic choice to dealing with global climate change and achieving sustainable development. So, every country in the world, especially developed countries, undertakes the international responsibility to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to lower energy consumption and carbon emissions. It becomes the core of international competition to adopt low carbon development model, promote industrial restructure, optimize energy structure, raise energy efficiency and develop clean energy. This paper starts from the question of development low-carbon economy, applies the method of theory related to practice to analyze the question which the low-carbon economy promotes economic development and transforms consumption concept. It will provide a reference for achieving economic sustainable development.
