Tutorial 3: Tools for Development of MAS

Summary form only given. To make concrete the various research in MASs and facilitate the implementation of applications, several agent implementation tools have been proposed. In the present state of research and development, we find contributions on agent architectures, agent languages, agent development environments and agent-base simulation tools. The challenge for these tools is to provide the specific characteristics of MAS such as openness, heterogeneity, distribution and scalability. The aim of this tutorial is to present two multi-agent development environments: DIMAX and JADE.
