Abstract :
To produce multiple uncorrelated mobile-to-mobile Rayleigh fading waveforms is often required for simulating frequency selective mobile-to-mobile channels, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) mobile-to-mobile channels, and diversity-combined mobile-to-mobile channels. In this paper, a new deterministic model based on Ricepsilas sum of sinusoids (SoS) is proposed to guarantee the uncorrelation between different simulated mobile-to-mobile Rayleigh fading waveforms. Analytical and numerical results show that the resulting sum-of-sinusoids-based deterministic model fulfills all main requirements imposed by the reference model with given correlation properties derived under two-dimensional isotropic scattering conditions.
