Abstract :
This paper proposes an improved version of “On-demand Generation Regulation Control (OGRC)” system, which is observing the unstable generator outputs and watching all generators/batteries status including electric vehicles (EV) to realize on-demand regulation of unstable generators. In our previous version, unstable renewable generators, photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbine (WT) generators, were not distinguished and regulated by the same manner. The proposed improved version deals with them separately to improve efficiency. In addition, EV charging control has been blushed up effectively to improve EV owners´ satisfaction and frequency control capability. The performance of the proposed system is verified through numerical simulations based on an actual ongoing test site with successful results.
